Day of Prayer
Laurel Run United Methodist Church, 2899 Laurel Run Road, Beech Creek, will have their National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 2.
The church will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. All are welcome to join in prayer.
Canal
transportation
Clinton County Genealogical Society meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 14, at 7 p.m., at the Poorman Gallery on Water Street in Lock Haven. Joby Topper will present the history of Transportation on the Canals. There is no cost to the meeting, all are welcome.
Cancer Benefit
Come to a benefit for Deb Smith on May 4 beginning at 12 p.m. at the 40 & 8 Club 903, 1098 Renovo Road, Mill Hall. There will be a cornhole tournament with a $20 team buy-in, basket raffles, a Chinese auction, 50/50 drawings, door prizes, a DJ, Chicken BBQ and lots more. All proceeds from the event will help Deb with treatment expenses and medical bills.
