‘Dinner and Dessert with Clinton County Professionals’
Advance Central PA, county government announce network event for June 13
LOCK HAVEN -- Advance Central PA, a workforce development board serving nine counties, in partnership with the Clinton County Government announced a new student and industry networking opportunity taking place in June at the Piper Government Building in Lock Haven.
Through the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry's Business Education Partnership grant, Advance Central PA aims to increase student, parent and educator awareness of local businesses and career opportunities in Central PA through deep dive networking events.
"Dinner and Dessert with Clinton County Professionals" allows a small group of high school students, along with a parent or guardian, to connect with professionals working in local government, hear inspiring career success stories, understand existing talent needs and learn about career opportunities and pathways.
The professionals representing a variety of departments within the Clinton County government will provide insightful presentations allowing students and their families to leave the event with an understanding of what it takes to operate the local government along with the diverse career options in the county.
