The Flags of Honor ceremony held Sunday in Triangle Park in downtown Lock Haven drew the largest crowd the event has ever seen. Flags of Honor is a project of the Rotary Club of Downtown Lock Haven and is made possible by community members and businesses who sponsor flags and become corporate sponsors. A total of 158 flags were sponsored this year in memory of, and in honor of, veterans, troops, first-responders and loved ones. This is Flags of Honor's 10th annual year, and the community support was so great that a record amount was raised - close to $9,000. Funds raised will go to scholarships and local nonprofits.
