The Clinton County community is stepping up in a big way to show support of Lock Haven Girl Scout Troop 40158. The troop is raising funds by hosting a yard sale today until 3 p.m. and Saturday, June 1 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Covenant United Methodist Church, 44 W. Main St., Lock Haven. The church generously donated the space and the items have been donated over the last month. The sale boasts a wide range of items from clothing in a variety of sizes, knickknacks, household items, games, DVDs, books, CDs and much more. According to troop representatives the sale is to help raise funds for a trip to Acadia National Park in July. Seniors who received the coveted Gold Star Award are attending the trip in Maine to celebrate their 12 years of dedication to the Girl Scouts. Pictured here are troop members Lena Walker and Leah Coleman surrounded by a range of products.
