LOCK HAVEN -- Colonel Hugh White-Colonel John Chatham NSDAR invites the public to the Laying of a Wreath Ceremony at Soldiers Circle, Highland Cemetery, on Tuesday, May 21, at 1 p.m., honoring all veterans in Clinton County.
Due to limited parking, a request is made for the public to carpool. Expect at least an hour for the service. Chairs and umbrellas are acceptable, please check the weather.
To show your support remember to wear red, white and blue.
Along with the DAR Ritual for War Patriots, guests will be from the following:
Clinton County Commissioners Jeff Snyder, Jim Russo and Angela Harding; Mayor of the City of Lock Haven Joel Long; Clinton County Veterans Affairs Director Todd Warner; and Highland Cemetery's Dave Wallace.
America’s Veterans have done everything asked of them in their mission to serve our country and it is never too late to give them a hero's recognition and pay tribute for their service to their nation in all wars.
Remember to Honor Memorial Day, May 27, and Veterans Day, Nov. 11, and pause and reflect on the sacrifices made by the men and women of our military personnel.
