Herb Guild
The Clinton County Herb Guild will hold their next meeting on Monday, July 8, at 7 p.m., at Big Woods Bible Church located at 241 S. Hanna St., Lock Haven. Guest speaker, Vinny Curtis, will be talking about herbal teas. The program is free and the public is invited to attend.
Ride the Rails to Curtin Village
Make your reservations today for Sunday, July 7. The rail excursions leave the Bellefonte Train Station at 10 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. and lasts 30 minutes each way with a one-hour layover at Curtin Village where visitors will have the opportunity to explore the story of nineteenth-century ironmaking. This rail excursion is a cooperative fundraising effort by two nonprofit organizations: the Bellefonte Historic Railroad Society and the Roland Curtin Foundation. All proceeds received will be used to support the preservation and interpretation of their respective missions related to railroad history and nineteenth century iron making in central Pennsylvania.
