Keystone Central School District Police and Security Services was recently presented with a donation of eight “Stop the Bleed” medical stations. The donation was arranged by Mark Trueman, Senior Manager of Prehospital Operations and Deputy Chief at UPMC Susquehanna Regional EMS. The Bleeding Control Kits are designed to provide bystanders and initial first responders with easy to access medical equipment for stopping life-threatening bleeding. The stations contain individual bleeding control kits with tourniquets, pressure dressings, gauze and wound packing material along with quick litters for moving injured casualties. Keystone Central School District is thankful for the generous donations from the Susquehanna Health Foundation, it said in a press release.
