Community Grief Support
Community Grief Support, a new support group, starts Tuesday, Aug. 13, and will meet the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month at 6 p.m. in Covenant United Methodist Church, 44 W. Main St., Lock Haven. Use the handicapped-accessible entrance. The facilitators are Sharon Gensib and Pamela Brauchli. The group is free and confidential, and all are welcome. Blood Drive
St. Luke's United Church of Christ 1175 W. 4th St. Flemington, will host a blood drive on Tuesday, Aug. 27, from 11:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. Root beer floats will be offered the day of the drive. Call 1-800-RED-CROSS, or visit RedCrossBlood.org to book your appointment.
Drive-in Movie
On Friday, Aug. 30, at 8 p.m., "Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian" (PG) will be screened at Sugar Valley Church of the Brethren, 2305 E. Winter Road, Loganton.
