Kettle Creek State Park Naturalist Brian Budjanec recently introduced foraging to people in attendance at a class he held at the Renovo Area Public Library. "Teas from trees and jams from nature" were introduced to the dozen or so people that attended the class as all enjoyed insights of the edible possibilities that lay throughout the woods of central Pennsylvania. Perhaps the most memorable part for many was the samples that Budjanec brought with him. Teas and jams from plants like bee balm, lilacs, milkweed and dandelions were just some of the samples that the audience of attentive listeners got to enjoy.
