Court to hold Special Session of Court for the late President Judge Carson V. Brown

PHOTO PROVIDED The Clinton County Courts will hold a special session for the late President Judge Carson V. Brown on Thursday, Sept. 19.

LOCK HAVEN -- Clinton County Court of Common Pleas President Judge Craig P. Miller has announced a Special Session of Court will be held on Thursday, Sept. 19, at 1:30 p.m., in remembrance of longtime Clinton County President Judge Carson V. Brown, who passed away on Aug. 13, 2024.

Judge Brown was first elected to the bench in 1974 and served two terms, retiring in 1994. Judge Brown then took Senior Judge status and ably served counties throughout the Commonwealth for another 25 years.

Judge Miller invites any interested persons to join him and Judge Michael F. Salisbury along with retired Clinton County President Judges Richard N. Saxon, Jr. and J. Michael Williamson in the large courtroom of the Clinton County Courthouse to celebrate the life of a truly inspiring man.
