The luminaries will be lit at dusk in Triangle Park on Wednesday, to remember Sept. 11th It's not too late to sponsor one.
It's been 23 years since the terrorist attacks on 9/11. Many still remember the fear of that day -- fear for friends, relatives, our cities, our troops, our nation.
Angel Lights is a chance for each of us to light a personal candle in the face of that dark memory.
To get your Angel Light now, visit The Bus Stops Here store at its new location of 25 E. Main St., Lock Haven. To get an Angel Light on 9/11, look for Downtown Lock Haven Rotary at the park on Sept. 11, from 2:30 p.m. into the evening.
Each Angel Light is $5. Proceeds are given back to the community.
You may personalize and decorate your paper luminary with the name of the person or group you wish to honor or remember. You might choose a favorite teacher, a friend who needs a lift, a loved one who has passed on, veterans or troops... anyone in your heart.
Angel Lights is an annual project of the Rotary Club of Downtown Lock Haven.
