Friends of the Ross Library to meet

​The Friends of the Ross Library will meet on Nov. 11 at 6 p.m. in the Sloan room.

Free workshop

Commonwealth University-Lock Haven is hosting a workshop on Thursday, Nov. 14, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., titled “Discrimination in PA: Trends to be aware of and how to protect yourself. The event will be held in Room 118 at the Willis Health Professions Center. This is a free, interactive program. Refreshments will be provided.

TOPS

TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) is looking for interested participants and guest speakers. Weigh-ins are from 4:30-5 p.m. each Monday afternoon, followed by the business meeting at 5 p.m. TOPS is held at the Flemington First Church of Christ, 714 Canal St., Mill Hall. Guest speakers are being sought to give a 15-20 minute presentation (or demonstration) on nutrition, forms of exercising or other healthy habits during the meetings.
