— Santa Jump Jamboree in Beech Creek, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Weather permitting, Santa will jump from an airplane at 1 p.m. and pose for photos with children afterward. Lots of craft and food vendors set up in the BC Fire Company social hall and parking lot and the Friendship Community Center.

— Lock Haven Shoe Bank will open the Boot Room today at 9 a.m., Lock Haven Area Shoe Bank is inside Covenant United Methodist Church at 44 W. Main St., Lock Haven. Appointments are required. If your family can come on Nov. 9, text or call Diahann at 814-571-5324 any weeknight from 7-9 p.m.

— Pennsylvania College of Technology will provide free dental care to children and teens ages 7-18 from 9 a.m. to noon. The Dental Hygiene Clinic will provide free oral screenings and sealant protective coatings as needed to the back teeth to help prevent tooth decay. — Howard Fire Company’s Gun Raffle, 12-5 p.m.

— Sugar Valley Vol. Fire Company’s Turkey Dinner, 4-7 p.m. at the fire station banquet hall. Meal includes turkey, stuffing, gravy, mashed potatoes, corn, noodles, cranberry sauce, desserts and drinks. Adult price is $16; ages 6-12 is $10 and those 5 and younger eat free. — Ballroom Dancing, 2-5 p.m., at Lambert Hall, 303 Forge Road, Bellefonte. $10 lesson fee and bring a snack to share.

— Chiz Rider will be in concert at 9 a.m. and again at 6 p.m. at the First Church of Christ, 330 N. Vesper St., Lock Haven. The public is invited to attend each of the trumpet concerts!
