Covenant Cafe to meet Nov. 19

LOCK HAVEN — The Covenant Cafe, an early stage Alzheimer’s activity group, will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 19, from 1-3 p.m., at Covenant United Methodist Church, 44 W. Main St., Lock Haven.

David Bellomo, Community Health Educator with AmeriHealth, will present a talk on adult dental health for seniors. Following his presentation, Ron and Teresa Kodish, retired educators, will conduct a session of fun physical activities. Refreshments will be served.

The Covenant Cafe is a joint venture between the Nurturing, Outreach and Worship Committee of Covenant United Methodist, the Alzheimer’s Support Group and the Alzheimer’s Association. Participants in this group are given an opportunity to be involved in socially and physically stimulating programs which will help them remain as active as possible.
