LHHS and ICHS Class of 1959
Lock Haven High School and Immaculate Conception High School Classes of 1959 will meet for lunch at 12 noon on Dec. 18 at Hangar Nine, 208 Bellefonte Ave., Lock Haven. Class members and guests are welcome.
Dress Exhibit
The Centre Furnace Mansion will feature The Dress: Restoration of Civil War First Lady of Pennsylvania Katherine Wilson Curtin's 1880's dress. The Dress presentation will be on exhibit from Tuesday, Dec. 17, through Sunday, Dec. 22, from 1-4 p.m.
A docent will be available during these times. You will learn the history of Katherine Curtin's French-made purple velvet and satin dress ensemble as well as the preservation efforts to restore the dress to its stunning beauty. The dress is on loan from the National Civil War Museum in Harrisburg. Please call 814-234-4779 for more info.
