Blood Drives

The American Red Cross will be having several blood drives during February and March that donors can attend. All blood types are needed. Visit the Red Cross website or call 1-800-RED CROSS to arrange an appointment. Walk-ins are also welcome!

Blood drives will be held on the following dates:

On Feb. 18, from 12:30-6 p.m., at Wingate Faith Church, 111 Runville Road, Bellefonte, located behind the Sheetz in Wingate.

On Feb. 19, from 12-4:30 p.m., at the Best Western in Lock Haven.

On Feb. 21, from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at Flemington First Church of Christ in Mill Hall.

On March 5, from 1-6 p.m., at Dunnstown Fire Company, Lock Haven.

Country Jam

Country Jam will be held at the Howard fire hall on Sunday, Feb. 23, from 2 – 6 p.m. Hosted by the Back Porch String Band, Country Jam is held the fourth Sunday of each month, except in December. It’s an afternoon of free music, snacks and fellowship. If you have an instrument, bring it along and play with the bands that are there, or you can come just to listen to the hand-clappin,’ toe-tappin’ tunes!
