Classes of 1964

Bingo fundraiser

The Jersey Shore American Legion Riders are hosting a Bingo fundraiser and Chinese auction featuring designer bags, Pampered Chef products and meat bundles, benefitting local veterans on Sunday, March 9, at the Jersey Shore Elks Lodge, 203 N. Main St., Jersey Shore. Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door. Doors will open at 12 p.m. and Bingo will begin at 1 p.m.

Country Jam

Country Jam will be held at the Howard fire hall on Sunday, Feb. 23, from 2 to 6 p.m. Hosted by the Back Porch String Band, Country Jam is held the fourth Sunday of each month, except in December. It’s an afternoon of free music, snacks and fellowship. If you have an instrument, bring it along and play with the bands that are there, or you can come just to listen to the hand-clappin,’ toe-tappin’ tunes!
