16th Annual Bunny Run needs your support

As we look to the coming Easter season, your help is again needed to provide donations of new Easter themed stuffed bunnies for the Susquehanna Valley Big Twins Motorcycle Club to deliver to area hospitals.

Each year, for the past 15 years, the SVBT Motorcycle Club has partnered with local collection sites to receive the donations that are then taken by the motorcyclists on a “Bunny Run” to area hospitals where they are distributed to children who are patients there.

This year marks the 16th Annual Bunny Run, and donations are needed before April 9.

Donations of new, unwrapped, stuffed Easter themed animals (bunnies, chicks or lambs) can be dropped into big boxes at designated spots around the area where they will be gathered by the cyclists and delivered just prior to the Easter holiday.

The local community has always contributed very well when it comes to donating the stuffed animals for the children at Easter time. The stuffed animals must be new and have the manufacturer’s tag left on them.

Locally, the donations can be brought to the Susquehanna Valley Big Twins Club House located at 84 Harley Drive in Woolrich. The Woolrich Community Center also will accept your donations. In Mill Hall, the Bald Eagle United Presbyterian Church on Main Street is accepting donations. In Jersey Shore, drop off boxes are in the Moose Club, at Kutzas Kitchen and at the Drier Law office.

The Express office has a drop off box as well as MoMoYo Otsu in Lock Haven. There are several locations in the Williamsport area, including the Sun Gazette, that will be accepting donations, too.

In Centre County, the Milesburg Lions Club is accepting donations that can be brought to their weekly Bingo held at the Milesburg Community Center on Thursday evenings and donations will also be accepted on Friday and Saturday at Bellefonte’s Titan Market that’s open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Donations will be accepted at Sheila’s Sassy Sipps Cafe in Titan Market.

Starting at $3.69/week.
