luncheon

Clinton County Veterans Affairs and KBR Bingo and More invites all Clinton County Vietnam Veterans and a guest to a luncheon to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War. Doors open at 1 p.m. on March 29 and the luncheon will be served from 2-4 p.m. at the KBR Bingo hall, 3rd floor of the Piper Museum building, 1 Piper Way, Lock Haven. Elevator access is available! If you can attend, please RSVP to 570-893-4339 before March 18.

Cash Bingo

The Sugar Valley Lion Club will begin their Cash Bingo games beginning this Friday, March 14, at their clubhouse located at 55 S. Sportsmans Road, Loganton, Pa. Ticket price is $25 for 20 games and can be purchased at the door. Rip tickets and special games are available to purchase throughout the evening. Doors open at 6 p.m. and games begin at 7 p.m. We offer free food, but gladly accept donations to help offset the food costs. All proceeds are used by the Lions Club to help those with needs that are less fortunate within our community. Your attendance and support is appreciated to help us help others.

Country Jam

Country Jam will be held at the Howard fire hall on Sunday, March 23, from 2 to 6 p.m. Hosted by the Back Porch String Band, Country Jam is held the fourth Sunday of each month, except in December. It’s an afternoon of free music, snacks and fellowship. If you have an instrument, bring it along and play with the bands that are there, or you can come just to listen to the hand-clappin’ and toe-tappin’ tunes!
