Takac to hold forums

State Representative Paul Takac will hold five listening sessions to hear directly from the community on the impact of closing SCI Rockview and the Quehanna Boot Camp. Takac will host forums to gain input from area residents on precisely how they will be impacted so he may better tell their stories to the Shapiro administration. Takac wants to hear directly from those who would be affected by a shutdown of one or both of these facilities. All forums will be held from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on the following dates:

Today, March 21 — Milesburg Community Center, 101 Mill St., Milesburg.

Thursday, March 27 — Howard United Methodist Church, 144 W. Main St., Howard.

Monday, March 31 — Benner Township Municipal Building, 1224 Buffalo Run Road, Bellefonte.

Wednesday, April 2 — Schlow Public Library, 211 S. Allen St., State College.

Monday, April 7 — Snow Shoe Township Building, 268 Old Side Road, Clarence.

Cemetery

Clean-up

Dunnstown Cemetery Spring Clean-up is slated to begin on Monday, March 31. All items that you want to keep should be removed before March 31. After the clean-up has been completed, new decorations can then be placed on the grave sites beginning on April 7.
