— Howard Area Lions Food Bank distribution, noon to 3 p.m., at former Beech Creek Elementary. Bring sturdy boxes with you.

Tuesday, March 4

— KBR Bingo holds Cash Bingo every Tuesday night, 6:30 p.m. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. Call Deb at 570-660-2647.

Wednesday, March 5

— Holy Moments in History series at Bald Eagle U.P. Church, Main St., Mill Hall. Retired history teacher Mike Palischak will lead the discussion this month on Dwight D. Eisenhower. The one hour program is free and begins at 10 a.m.

— Prayer Shawl Ministry meeting, noon, at Bald Eagle U.P. Church, Main St., Mill Hall.

Come see the many items that the needleworkers have crocheted or knitted over the past month. Donations of yarn and cotton material will be appreciated. If you knit or crochet, come join our group!

— Blood Drive, 1-6 p.m., at Dunnstown Fire Company, Lock Haven.

Thursday, March 6

— Jersey Shore Area Middle School presents Honk, Jr., at 7 p.m. Adult tickets are $5 and student admission is $3. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. This comical retelling of “the Ugly Duckling” will have you laughing out loud. For info or tickets, call JSA Middle School at 570-398-7400.

— Senior Cheer Club meeting, noon, at Friendship Community Center in Beech Creek. Anyone 55 and older is invited. Bring a covered dish to share.

— St. John’s Lutheran Church food distribution, 4-6 p.m. Residents of the area may come for free food aid to the church at 216 McAllister St., Bellefonte. Stay in your car for service. — Milesburg Lions Club Bingo at the community center, 6:45 p.m. Doors open at 5 p.m.

Friday, March 7

— Susquehanna Valley Quilt Guild’s 2025 Quilt Show, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Warrior Run Fire Co. social hall, First St., Allenwood, Pa. Admission is $5. Vendors, Quilters Corner, Lunch available, Quilt raffle and more. www.susqvalleyquilters.org.

— Friday Night Lenton Fish Fries at St. John’s Catholic School, 116 E. Bishop St., Bellefonte, will be held each Friday during Lent, from March 7 through April 11, from 4-7 p.m. Eat in or Take Out; CASH ONLY. The cost is only $14 for adults; $7 for children under 12 and under 6 eat for free. Come experience Centre County’s largest Fish Fry, prepared and served by the Bellefonte Knights of Columbus and Catholic Daughters of the America’s.

— Bingo at Mill Hall Fire Hall every Friday night at 6:30 p.m. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.

— Centre Hall Fire Company first Friday of the month Bingo, 7 p.m. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and Early Bird games start at 6:30 p.m. Lots of good food, too!
