KBR Bingo
Benefits others
KBR Bingo will be hosting benefit Bingos to help others. Please come and show your support!
Bingos are held at the Piper Museum building, third floor Bingo hall. Elevator service is available. In addition to the Bingo there are also Chinese auctions, 50/50 drawings and good food available from the kitchen. Doors open at 11 a.m. and Bingo starts at 1 p.m.
On May 25, the Bingo will benefit Polly Hook, who is battling cancer.
On May 31, the Bingo will benefit Alissa Denmano.
On June 8, the Bingo will benefit Dave Mader, who was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident in April.
On June 21, Roads to Peace will be the beneficiary of funds.
On June 28, the Bingo will benefit Tucker Dorman, a young Mill Hall boy with Hodgkins lymphoma. "Tucker's Tribe"is also collecting soda can tabs for his stay at the Ronald McDonald House during cancer treatments.
Flag disposal
The 40 & 8 Voiture Local 903 Clinton County will dispose of unserviceable flags at a ceremony on Wednesday, June 11, at 6 p.m., at the lodge grounds located at 1098 Renovo Road, Mill Hall. The Jersey Shore Honor Guard will participate. The club requests all flags for disposal be dropped off by noon on June 11.
TOPS
TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) is looking for interested participants and guest speakers. Weigh-ins are from 4:30-5 p.m. each Monday afternoon, followed by the business meeting at 5 p.m. TOPS is held at the Flemington First Church of Christ, 714 Canal St., Mill Hall. Guest speakers are being sought to give a 15-20 minute presentation (or demonstration) on nutrition, forms of exercising or other healthy habits during the meetings. For questions or to volunteer as a guest speaker, call Anna at 570-660-2087.
Food for thought
Would you like to become a Shoe Bank volunteer? The Lock Haven Area Shoe Bank is usually open one Saturday a month, when we have the fun of giving free new shoes to eligible kids and teens. We are looking for more volunteers, including people we can call when we are shorthanded. If you'd like to volunteer or just ask some basic questions about it, please text or call Wendy at 570-295-3443.

The Jersey Shore Elks #1057 restaurant is open to the public! Come try the great food prepared by Two Fired Up Guys. They offer more than your typical bar foods; burgers, sandwiches, dinners, salads, wings and much more. Check them out on Facebook for the full menu and daily specials such as Wing Night Wednesday. Hours of operation are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 2 p.m.-8 p.m. Closed Tuesday and Sunday.
