— Howard community Yard Sales today. Howard Grange #297 will have their food tent set up today at the old Insurance Office near the Howard post office selling burgers, hot dogs, soup and drinks. Howard Christian Church and Howard United Methodist Church will also have indoor yard sales today and tomorrow.
— Flemington community Yard Sales today. Flemington First Church of Christ will have an Indoor Yard Sale from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Food and homemade pies are also available.
— Titan Market’s Mother’s Day Market, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Enjoy sweets, sips and shopping!
— Sugar Valley Lions Benefit Bingo and Chinese Auction, 7 p.m. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $25 and available by advanced ticket purchase by calling Bob at 570-725-3665 or Donna at 570-263-6122. Donations of baskets and prizes are needed for the Chinese Auction. Call Renee at 814-404-4321 if you’ll donate. Proceeds from this benefit will be given to the Geisewite family, following the tragic auto accident that claimed the life of Evan Geisewite.
— Old School Market open every Friday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Along with many vendors, there will be a Misc. merchandise sale at 4 p.m., followed by a hay and small animals sale at 6 p.m., and spring pony auction at 7:30 p.m.
— Bingo at Mill Hall Fire Hall every Friday night at 6:30 p.m. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
— Clinton County Spring Carnival, 5-10 p.m., at Flemington Fire Company carnival grounds. Rides, games, food and more!
— Mt. Pleasant Cemetery Association of Rosecrans annual meeting will be at 7 p.m., at Mt. Pleasant Bible Church, 4561 Long Run Road, Loganton. All lot owners are encouraged to attend.
— Clinton County United Way’s Sports Night and Fine Arts Auction, 6:30-10 p.m., at Sons of Italy Courtyard, 1 N. Henderson St., Lock Haven. Silent and live auctions, games, prizes, DJ, food and beverages!

— Bargains and Blessings Community Closet will be open from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the fellowship hall of Faith Chapel United Methodist Church, 551 Hunter Run Road, Howard. Enter through the side door off the lower parking lot. This sale will be held rain or shine. Gently used, good quality clothing, shoes and accessories for the entire family are available. — The Lenny W. Stroud, Jr. Memorial Fund Pink and Proud presents their 6th annual kids fishing derby. The event will take place rain or shine, at Mark’s Lane in Jersey Shore, off old Route 220. This a free event open to all youth ages 0-15 years of age. Stocking will begin at 8 a.m. for anyone who wishes to participate. Registration is from 8-10 a.m. and you will receive a free gift upon registration. The derby will start at 10 a.m. and end at 3 p.m. Awards will be announced and presented shortly after the derby ends. Food and drinks will be available for purchase throughout the day along with door prizes, raffles, rip tickets and a 50/50.
