— Howard community Yard Sales today. Howard Grange #297 will have their food tent set up today at the old Insurance Office near the Howard post office selling burgers, hot dogs, soup and drinks. Howard Christian Church and Howard United Methodist Church will also have indoor yard sales today and tomorrow.

— Flemington community Yard Sales today. Flemington First Church of Christ will have an Indoor Yard Sale from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Food and homemade pies are also available.

Enter through the side door off the lower parking lot. This sale will be held rain or shine. Gently used, good quality clothing, shoes and accessories for the entire family are available. — The Lenny W. Stroud, Jr. Memorial Fund Pink and Proud presents their 6th annual kids fishing derby. The event will take place rain or shine, at Mark’s Lane in Jersey Shore, off old Route 220. This a free event open to all youth ages 0-15 years of age. Stocking will begin at 8 a.m. for anyone who wishes to participate. Registration is from 8-10 a.m. and you will receive a free gift upon registration. The derby will start at 10 a.m. and end at 3 p.m. Awards will be announced and presented shortly after the derby ends. Food and drinks will be available for purchase throughout the day along with door prizes, raffles, rip tickets and a 50/50.
