Happy Travelers trips open to the public; meeting is May 14
LOCK HAVEN — The Pennsylvania Happy Travelers will meet on Wednesday, May 14, at 3 p.m., at the STEP Center (Senior Center), 124 E. Walnut St., Lock Haven. These meetings are perfect opportunities to meet other travelers and learn about the club and its trips. Everyone is welcome to attend the meetings and travel with the club, all you need is a love of adventure with a friendly, fun-loving group.
The Happy Travelers have an exciting line-up of trips scheduled for the remainder of 2025. Currently, seats are available on a trip to Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick, with a stop in Bar Harbor, Maine, and Acadia National Park. This trip is scheduled for Oct. 4-14. Seats are also available on a trip to the beautiful Biltmore Estate at Christmastime and Ashville, N.C., on Dec. 7-12. Three one-day trips are also planned for 2025. On Wednesday, June 9, the group will be visiting architect Frank Lloyd Wright’s masterpiece, Fallingwater, and the Flight 93 Memorial; on Wednesday, July 2, they will be enjoying the Bird-In-Hand Dinner Theater’s production of “The Rise and Fall of Miss Fannie’s Biscuits,” based on the book by Wanda Brunstetter and Martha Bolton; and on Wednesday, Dec. 3, traveling to Lancaster to see “Deck the Halls,” the holiday show at the American Music Theater.

Hold the date for the summer picnic, which will be held on Wednesday, July 9. More details will be announced as plans are confirmed.
