Leadership Clinton County graduates 25th class

MILL HALL — On Thursday, May 8 at Haywood’s on the Green, Leadership Clinton County held its graduation ceremony for 13 new graduates.

Friends, family, and local stakeholders came out to celebrate their accomplishments. Speeches were given by Dave Harger, interim CEO of the Clinton County Economic Partnership; Mark Long representing State Sen. Chris Dush; Rep. Stephanie Borowicz; and the Clinton County Commissioners, Angela Harding, Jim Russo and Jeff Snyder.

This class marked the 25th class that has undergone the nine-month long training program that aims to create knowledgeable leaders in our community. The course offers extensive personal development training, networking opportunities, and an in depth education about all things Clinton County.

Congratulations go out to the 13 newest Leadership Clinton County graduates. To date, 346 have undergone the program. Cathy Ballat was the winner of the Wayne D. Briggs memorial award, created in his honor for his development in the program and his community involvement. The award is given to those who have shown significant growth while in the program and the winner is chosen by the class.

The 13 graduates are: Cathy Ballat, Angela Boswell, Brittany Brooks, Virginia Counsil, Julie Daniels, Josh Hamilton, Joseph Kreitz, Daniel McPherson, Amy Swarthout, Brandis Teats, Samantha Tressler, Heidi Warner and Erin Winslow.

The program wishes to thank the graduates for their initiative, and their friends, family, and employers for supporting these 13 graduates.

The program, administered by the Clinton County Economic Partnership is accepting applications for the upcoming year which are due July 1.
