The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service and Trout Unlimited and the Northeast Fishery Center will hold the Annual Catch and Release Fishing event on Saturday, May 31, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Children ages 12 and under are welcome to participate at the event, held at the fishery center, 308 Washington Ave., Lamar. Bait, tackle and fishing instructions will be provided along with fishing rods. Artificial lures and minnows are prohibited.
