Rotary thanks Angel Partners following Flags of Honor 2025

LOCK HAVEN -- Triangle Park will be filled with Flags of Honor for Memorial Day, from Friday, May 23, to Sunday, June 1.

Flags of Honor is a project of the Rotary Club of Downtown Lock Haven and is made possible by the many people who sponsor flags and the many businesses that donate money and in-kind services.

The more than 30 corporate sponsors will be named in a full-page ad in The Express community newspaper, in the commemorative booklet and also on a banner at the park's gazebo.

And this year, four businesses have gone above and beyond to support the project. These Angel Partners for the 2025 flag display are Bear Country Radio, The Express, Nestlerode Contracting Inc. and Schlesinger Communications.

Proceeds from Flags of Honor fund two scholarships for Central Mountain High School graduating seniors and also help nonprofits that directly benefit people here.

Monday, May 12, was the deadline to sponsor a flag for $35 each.

Wednesday, May 14, is the deadline for businesses to become a corporate sponsor, for a $100 donation. To find out how, visit Downtown Lock Haven Rotary's page on Facebook or contact Wendy at 570-295-3443.
