-- Centre Hall Community Yard Sales. Mr. Sticky will be at the fire station along with other great food being sold by the fire company volunteers!
-- Wingate Faith Church will have a Community Heroes Appreciation event at the church from noon to 2 p.m. Come see fire equipment and meet first responders from our area. Church is located at 111 Runville Road, Bellefonte, just behind the Sheetz store near BEA High School.

-- Cardboard Boat Races as part of Riverfest in Woodward Township. Registration at 10 a.m. with judging slated for 11 a.m. and races beginning at 12 p.m. Entry fee is $10 per participant with prizes being awarded for "Best Boat Design," "Best Theme for Boat and Costume" and "The Titanic Award (Best Sinker)" along with race winners for each age group.
Age groups include: children age 8-12, youth age 13-17, adult age 18-49, adults age 18 to 49, adults age 50 and up and family/group/organizations. Requirements for the event include: wearing appropriate sized life preserver; must wear a whistle; must wear river shoes -- no flip flops are permitted; you must supply your own oars and paddles -- no motors; and boats must be built with only cardboard, duct tape, nontoxic glue and paint. Proceeds from this race will benefit kids in the area with medical needs, Skye Breon and Tucker Dorman.

-- Otto Bookstore will host the annual Kids Festival from noon to 4 p.m., at 107 W. Fourth St., Williamsport. This free, family friendly festival will feature storytelling sessions, arts and crafts, games, face painting, bounce houses, live music and food vendors. Meet special guests and authors who will be on hand selling and signing their books.
-- Bird Bingo program at Bald Eagle State Park at 10 a.m. Take a 1.5 mile walk on trails in the park to identify as many birds in the Bird Bingo. Bring your own binoculars. Meet at Pavilion 6 near the beach area.
-- Go berry picking with the naturalist at Bald Eagle State Park at 1 p.m. Bring a container to pick your blackberries or black raspberries in. Long pants and bug spray are recommended. Meet at Pavilion 6 near the beach area.
-- Little Pine State Park's Summer Wildflowers stroll, 3:30 p.m. Meet at the amphitheater for a walk to spot many wildflowers this time of year at the park.
-- Hyner Run State Park's Summer Wildflowers stroll, 3:30 p.m. Meet by the pool to go on a walk to see the wildflowers growing and blooming at the park. There will also be a craft.
-- Hyner Run State Park's Evening Hike on the Nature Trail to see flora and fauna. Meet at the amphitheater by the pool at 7:30 p.m. for the hike.
SUNDAY
-- Bald Eagle State Park's Tails on Trails. Bring your dog and join the park naturalist on a 2.5 mile walk along Skyline Trail. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times and it is recommended that you bring bottled water for both yourself and your dog. Portions of the trail are on an incline and could also be wet or muddy so wear proper footwear. Meet at the Skyline Trailhead at 10 a.m.
-- A Restore Beech Creek event will be held on June 29 from 1 p.m.-3 p.m. at the Three Point Sportsman Club in Clarence. Come learn about abandoned mine drainage, the renewed effort to restore the Beech Creek stream and programs available to landowners who want to help to clean up abandoned mine lands on their property. Representatives from Trout Unlimited and the Bureau of Abandoned Mine Restoration will be there to answer your questions. There will be hotdogs and drinks provided.

-- Clinton County Historical Society's Heisey House Museum is open to visitors on Sundays this month from 1-3 p.m. The Heisey has a vast collection of memorabilia and artifacts from the 18th and early 19th centuries as well as displays of lumbering and ice collection tools from those past industries. -- A Milesburg Community Forum, hosted by Central PA United, will be held from 4 to 6 p.m., at the Milesburg Community Center. The focus of this forum will be to allow residents to speak about their concerns for the community.

MONDAY

-- Dunnstown Fire Company offers a Cash Bingo every Monday night at the fire station on 119 Woodward Ave., Lock Haven. Bingo starts at 6 p.m. and all proceeds help to support the fire company's needs.
TUESDAY
-- Porter Township Community Library is holding a summer library program. There will be stories, activities, crafts, games, snacks and book selections. It will be at Recreation Park on July 1.
