Horses for Real Horses

The Jersey Shore American Legion Riders Post 36 will host the Steel Horses for Real Horses Benefit Run on Sunday, Aug. 24, at the Jersey Shore American Legion, 320 Seminary St., Jersey Shore. Registration runs from 9:30-11:30 a.m. and is $15 per bike and $10 per passenger. The event is open to all vehicles. This will be a non-structured ride, followed by a hearty meal, a 50/50 drawing and an “Ole American Auction.” Breakfast sandwiches will be available for purchase for $5. A.J. Barbours School Reunion will be taking place at the old school. All former students and teachers are welcome. It will be on Saturday, Aug. 9, eating at 1 p.m. There will be chicken, hotdogs, drinks and tableware provided. Please bring a dish to share and your old school photos!
