The Pennsylvania Happy Travelers have two exciting trips planned for the remainder of 2025. From Oct. 4-14, they will travel to Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick, Canada. From Dec. 7-12, they will visit Asheville, N.C., and the spectacular Biltmore Estate, which will be decorated for the holidays.

Enroute to Canada, the travelers will make a stop at Bar Harbor, Maine, and enjoy a guided tour of beautiful Acadia National Park. Then it’s off to Nova Scotia for a guided tour of the capital city of Halifax, and visits to historic Lunenburg and Canada’s most famous lighthouse, the Peggy’s Cove Light.

Departing Nova Scotia, the next stop will be Prince Edward Island for a tour of the capital city of Charlottetown. While on PEI, the travelers will have the opportunity to visit the famous Green Gables Heritage Site, the setting of the world-famous novel “Anne of Green Gables.”

The following day, there will be visits to the famous Hopewell Rocks and Saint John, New Brunswick, with sights such as the Reversing Falls Rapids and the Bay of Fundy. Finally, there will be time to explore Kings Landing Historical Settlement, a living history museum with original buildings dating from 1820-1920.

This trip includes 10 nights’ lodging, 10 breakfasts, one lunch, eight dinners, all admissions, baggage handling and tips for the driver and tour guides.

The trip to Asheville and the Biltmore Estate in December includes a guided tour of Asheville, a visit to the magnificent St. Lawrence Basilica, and a guided drive on the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway with a stop at the Folk Art Center. While at the Biltmore Estate, there will be ample time to visit the Antler Village and Winery and enjoy the magnificent holiday decorations.

This trip includes five nights’ lodging, five breakfasts, three dinners, admission to attractions, baggage handling and tips for the driver and tour guides.
