Class of 1967
Lock Haven High School Class of 1967 will be meeting for lunch on Wednesday, Aug. 13, at 1 p.m., at the Valley Hotel in Mill Hall. All classmates and their guests are welcomed. If questions, call Joyce at 570-962-3355.
KBR Bingo benefits others
KBR Bingo will be hosting benefit Bingos to help others. Please come and show your support!
Bingos are held at the Piper Museum building, third floor Bingo hall. Elevator service is available. In addition to the Bingo there are also Chinese auctions, 50/50 drawings and good food available from the kitchen. Doors open at 11 a.m. and Bingo starts at 1 p.m.
The Bingo on Aug. 3 will benefit (the late) Blaine Sementelli, who died June 8 at the age of 21, to pay for his final expenses. Tickets are $25. Call Sue at 570-367-9996 or Deb at 570-660-2647 for info.
On Aug. 23 there will be a Cash Bash Bingo at the KBR Bingo hall to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association. The Bingo is sponsored by both Lock Haven Rehabilitation and Senior Living and Haven Place. Merrill Reunion
Arthur and Henrietta Merrill Reunion will be held on Aug. 16 at Woolrich Park, Pavilion #3. Lunch will begin at noon. Please bring a covered dish to share and, if possible, an item wrapped to be in the family auction. We hope to see everyone there!
Neon Color Run/Walk
Central Mountain Majorettes ReliaQuest Team will be having a Neon Color Run/Walk on Aug. 8 at 7:30 p.m. at the Central Mountain High School campus. The majorette team is raising funds to help with their traveling to Tampa in December to perform during the pregame and halftime show at the ReliaQuest Bowl Game. The majorettes are ready for some color blasting and fun entertainment, and want a lot of participants to come out to this event. Register before July 18 to get a T-shirt. Help Helping Hands Help Others
Helping Hands at United Lutheran Church is a non profit program that helps low income families and senior citizens with items such as toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, soap, laundry care, cleaning items, ect. They will be closed for the month of July, but will reopen the third Wednesday in August. Any questions, please feel free to call Kelly Olmstead at 272-209-5912. Donations of any items (or financial support for us to buy items) will be a tremendous help for the program.
