Breakfast benefit
A breakfast benefit for Tucker Dorman is being held at Susquehanna Valley Big Twins Motor Cycle Club, 84 Harley Dr., (Woolrich area) Lock Haven, from 7-11 a.m., on Saturday, Aug. 16. Adult meals $10; ages 6-12 $6; five and younger eat free. In addition to breakfast, 50/50 and Chinese auction/basket raffle will be held to raise funds for Tucker and his family. Tucker is a young boy battling Hodgkins Lymphoma. Call Perry at 570-295-2078 for info or to donate!
Labor Day Picnic
On Sept. 1, at a Labor Day Picnic at Immaculate Conception Parish, 5973 Jacks Hollow Road, off Route 654, in Bastress, their annual country style ham and turkey dinner will be held from 12-6 p.m. The meal will consist of ham and turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, corn, noodles, coleslaw, bread and dessert. The cost is $13 per meal for adults, $6 per meal for children ages 4-12. Children under 4 are free. Takeout meals are available after 1 p.m. Takeout meals are $13 per meal.
In addition to the dinner, other foods, snacks and desserts will be available on the grounds as well as a raffle and Bingo table. For info call Cole at 570-932-1886.
Class of 1964
