MILL HALL — As summer seems to be winding down, the crew at Dotterer Dairy in Mill Hall are gearing up for their fourth annual Sunflower Maze!

Because of the weather this spring, the maze is running from Aug. 22 through Sept. 6. The Sunflower maze will be located behind the Farmer’s Dotterer/64 Beer Store located on Route 64 and will be open every day from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

You can purchase tickets online on the event page at the Farmer’s Dotterer or purchase at the maze. The price for admission is $7 and children 3 years old and younger are free.

Dotterer Dairy is excited to honor and donate a portion of our proceeds to its community fire departments with the design of our maze this year.

They have activities planned such as Glow Night will be on Friday, Aug. 29 from 9 to 11 p.m. People can purchase tickets for this event ahead of time on the event page or at the maze. The price will be $10. The price includes admission, glow sticks and other glow accessories. People may also bring their own glow paraphernalia.

There will be something to do for everyone. As you walk through the Sunflower maze and gaze at the beautiful splendor, take advantage of the many photo opportunities throughout the maze. They will also have a photographer on hand in which you can make an appointment.

The maze will also be a petting zoo that includes goats, sheep, miniature pony, calf and more.

“We will once again have a look-out point to gaze out over the acres of planted Sunflowers as well as food vendors, craft vendors and children’s games,” the release from Dotterer Dairy said. “Once again we will be selling Sunflower souvenirs and mementos.”

Starting at $3.69/week.
