LOCK HAVEN — Angel Lights will again glow in Triangle Park on the evening of 9/11.

It’s not too early to start thinking about your angels and who you would like to honor this year.

Angel Lights are offered by the Rotary Club of Downtown Lock Haven. Everyone may sponsor one or more of the luminaries for a donation of $5 each. Sponsors personalize their luminary with the name of the person or group they wish to honor.

Each year, luminaries honor and remember first-responders, teachers, veterans, troops, teachers, friends, loved ones, anyone who needs their spirits lifted for any reason.

On Thursday, Sept. 11, Rotary club members will light the luminaries in the downtown park, and the lights will shine together as a display of respect and love.

The luminary bags are available at The Bus Stops Here store, 25 E. Main St., Lock Haven. You may make your donation and personalize your bag there any time the store is open. If you wish, you may take your bag home to decorate it and return it later.

The luminaries also will be available during the Labor Day Regatta. Look for the Downtown Rotary tent in the arts and crafts section.

Proceeds benefit community causes and local nonprofits.
