Charity Benefit

A Charity benefit for severely wounded Ukrainian soldiers is planned Thursday, Oct. 2, from 6-10 p.m., at the Sons of Italy Courtyard, 1 N. Henderson St., Lock Haven (guests may enter from the alley). Meet Sgt. Davyd, an English-speaking Ukrainian soldier, his wife and volunteers from Revived Soldiers Ukraine, a national non-profit devoted to bringing severely wounded soldiers such as amputees to the U.S. for rehabilitation and prosthetic devices. The event will feature Private Stock Trio in concert, a cash bar, chicken BBQ dinner by Stolzfus Meats (dine-in or take-out), a roving magician, a personalized caricatures artist and John Finn, of WSQV radio, as the emcee.
