Concerts

Lamar Lighthouse Camp will continue their summer concerts each Sunday evening through the end of September. Each concert will begin at 6 p.m. and the public is invited. The concerts are free, but a love offering is taken each week. The Fuller Family Singers will entertain on Sept. 14; 2nd Chance Ministries on Sept. 21 and the final Sunday night concert of the season will be on Sept. 28 when GloryWay takes the stage. BEN Class

of 1990

Bald Eagle Nittany Class of 1990 will be holding their 35th Class Reunion this year! Please join fellow classmates on Friday, Sept. 19, at Floating Feathers in Mill Hall starting at 6 p.m. This will be a casual, classmates only gathering. On Saturday, Sept. 20, will be a picnic at 70 Maggs Road, Beech Creek, starting at 1 p.m., eating at 5 p.m. This picnic will be for classmates and adult guests and will include hot dogs and hamburgers. Please bring your own beverages, lawn chair and a covered dish to share. Your RSVP would be greatly appreciated. Help Helping Hands Help Others

Helping Hands at United Lutheran Church is a non profit program that helps low income families and senior citizens with items such as toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, soap, laundry care, cleaning items, ect. They are located at the United Lutheran Church in Lock Haven. They are asking for donations to keep our doors open. Any questions, please feel free to call Kelly Olmstead at 272-209-5912. Donations of any items (or financial support for us to buy items) will be a tremendous help for the program.

New Hope Fellowship Room

New Hope Fellowship has a Fellowship Corner Room at its church at 6436 Nittany Valley Drive, Mill Hall. The Fellowship Corner Room is available for your parties, receptions, showers and other small gathering events. The room will seat 60-70 comfortably and offers tables, cushioned chairs, stoves, microwaves, a refrigerator and plenty of counter space and outside parking. Monetary donations are appreciated but are not required for you to use the Fellowship Corner Room. Contact New Hope Fellowship at 570-755-1450 for info.

Join Flemington Hi-Neighbor

The Flemington Hi-Neighbor Committee is looking for new members. They are an all volunteer non-profit group with a goal to provide events for the community. They sponsor a carnival in the spring, flowers for the park, fundraisers, Christmas events and an Easter egg hunt and also help a local church with their Senior Thanksgiving Dinner. They always welcome new suggestions. The Hi-Neighbors meet the second Tuesday of every month at 7 p.m. at the Flemington Borough Office during fall to spring and at the Flemington Park during spring and summer months, weather permitting.
