MACKEYVILLE — The Clinton County Conservation District has announced that the annual Farm City Family Festival will take a pause in 2025, with plans already underway to host the next event on Saturday Sept. 19, 2026.

According to a release from the conservation district, in recent years, the festival has seen a gradual decline in participation and community interest.

“Taking this year away from the event will allow the District to reimagine the festival and explore new ways to make it more engaging, relevant and beneficial for the community,” the release said. “The Clinton County Conservation District thanks the community for its continued support and looks forward to welcoming everyone back in 2026 for a day of fun, learning, and celebration of agriculture and natural resources.”
