Woolrich Cub Scout Pack 66

Woolrich Cub Scout Pack 66 will be holding a flag ceremony on Friday, Oct. 3, at 6 p.m., at the Lock Haven Moose Lodge located at 150 Hanna St.

We invite anyone from the public to attend and highly encourage any active military or veterans to come to the ceremony!

Farm Bureau Annual Dinner

Clinton County Farm Bureau will be having an annual dinner meeting on Friday, Oct. 3, at 7 p.m., at the Learning Center at Cooperation Lane, Mill Hall. The meal will feature ham, bbq chicken, mashed potatoes, filling, green beans, glazed carrots, slaw and dessert. The cost for meals is $12 for those 12 years and older; $6 for children ages 6-11; and those five and younger can eat for free.

Cash Bingo

Sugar Valley Lions Club will have a Cash Bingo on Oct. 10 at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m. at the Lions/Sportsman’s Club, 55 Sportsmans Road, Loganton. Tickets are $25 for 20 games and are available at the door. Ticket info is available by calling Elisabeth at 570-725-2148 or Bob at 570-725-3665. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. The Clubhouse is a smoke free facility.

Cash Bingo Events

Mill Hall Vol. Fire Company offers a Cash Bingo every Friday night beginning at 6:30 p.m. Doors and the kitchen open at 5:30 p.m. The fire station and social room are located at 9 Peale Ave., Mill Hall. MHVFC Bingo will be held on Oct. 3, 10 and 17.

Dunnstown Fire Company offers a Cash Bingo every Monday night at the fire station on 119 Woodward Ave., Lock Haven. Bingo starts at 6 p.m. and all proceeds help to support the fire company’s needs. Bingo will be held on Oct. 6, 13 and 20.

KBR Bingo and More holds Bingo every Tuesday night at the Piper Airport Museum’s 3rd floor, Lock Haven. Early Bird game at 6:15 p.m., and regular Bingo at 6:30 p.m.

Grief support at Covenant UMC

Community Grief Support meets the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month from 6-7 p.m. in the lounge at Covenant United Methodist Church, 44 W. Main St., Lock Haven. The church has a parking lot next to the building. Use the handicap-accessible entrance. This is an ongoing informal group. Its mission is to provide a circle of compassionate listeners who have lost loved ones and are looking for a safe place to talk or just listen to others’ experience and coping strategies. Two facilitators lead the sessions, Sharon Gensib and Pam Brauchli.

Join Flemington Hi-Neighbor

The Flemington Hi-Neighbor Committee is looking for new members. They are an all volunteer non-profit group with a goal to provide events for the community. They sponsor a carnival in the spring, flowers for the park, fundraisers, Christmas events and an Easter egg hunt and also help a local church with their Senior Thanksgiving Dinner. They always welcome new suggestions. The Hi-Neighbors meet the second Tuesday of every month at 7 p.m. at the Flemington Borough Office during fall to spring and at the Flemington Park during spring and summer months, weather permitting.
