Campfire Cash Bingo
Come to Dunnstown Fire Company on Sunday, Oct. 19, for Campfire Cash Bingo! Tickets are $25 and all proceeds benefit Cub Scout Pack 66 of Woolrich. Doors open at 11 a.m., Bingo starts at 1 p.m.. Food will be available.

Benefit Bingos
KBR Bingo and More will be hosting benefit Bingos to help individuals and clubs or organizations in our community. Come play Bingo and help to support those in need.
On Oct. 18, the Bingo will help APP Pug Rescue.
On Oct. 19, Hope’s Dream and Rescue Sanctuary will be helped.
On Oct. 25, the Drumline at Sugar Valley Charter School is benefitted.
On Oct. 26, there will be a Christmas Cash Bingo.
Doors open at 11 a.m. and Bingo starts at 1 p.m. Tickets are available at the door or by checking the KBR Bingo Facebook page. In addition to the Bingo there is usually a basket raffle, rip tickets and good food!
KBR Bingo is located on the third floor of the Piper Museum Building in Lock Haven. Elevator service is provided!
CPR and First Aid
Do you want to be certified in CPR and/or First Aid? Need re-certified? Please come out and take part in these life saving classes taught by instructors Kim and Ray Bohartz. You can choose either class or both. CPR will meet Monday, Oct. 27, from 6-10 p.m., on the SVRCS campus, 235 E. Main St., Loganton. Cost is $80. First Aid will be offered on Monday, Nov. 10, from 6-10 p.m. Cost is $40. Registration is necessary. Contact 570-367-1351 or djeffries@svrcs.org to sign up.
Donations needed
Many local cemeteries are struggling with having enough funds to make sure that the grass gets mowed. Whatever cemetery your loved ones are buried in, please consider making a donation now to help with the grass mowing expenses.
Grief support at Covenant UMC
Community Grief Support meets the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month from 6-7 p.m. in the lounge at Covenant United Methodist Church, 44 W. Main St., Lock Haven. The church has a parking lot next to the building. Use the handicap-accessible entrance. This is an ongoing informal group. Its mission is to provide a circle of compassionate listeners who have lost loved ones and are looking for a safe place to talk or just listen to others’ experience and coping strategies. Two facilitators lead the sessions, Sharon Gensib and Pam Brauchli.
