— Penn State Master Gardeners will be returning to the SVRCS Library, 236 E. Main St., Loganton, from 6-8 p.m., to teach how to make your own dried flower arrangement for the fall season! These arrangements will be created in a hollowed out pumpkin of your choice! $35 includes all materials needed to create your personal masterpiece. SATURDAY
— Come and get homemade vegetable soup at the Bald Eagle United Presbyterian Church, 111 Main St., Mill Hall, from 9 a.m. to noon. Folks can just drive in the alley and the soup will be delivered to their cars. Soup will be $9 a quart and comes in freezable containers!
— Logan Grange #109 is having a drive-through soup sale. The soup flavors are chicken corn noodle and stuffed pepper and the cost is $9 per quart. The soup sale runs from 10 a.m. until noon, or until all sold out. Walk-in sales will also be filled until all sold out! The Logan Grange hall is located at 122 N. Main St., Pleasant Gap.

— Curtin Village’s annual Apple Festival, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. $5 admission for those over age 10. Come hungry for food, watch cider being pressed, kids’ activities like pumpkin painting, corn shelling and making corn husk dolls. McHugh Family Farm will have goats and bunnies at their petting zoo (additional fee charged).

— Howard Fire Company’s Punkin Chunkin at Bald Eagle State Park beach area, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Free admission and parking! Enjoy the afternoon of pumpkins being chunked into the lake, arts and craft vendors and food vendors. Fun for the whole family!
— Walker Township Fire Company is having a gun raffle from 5-11 p.m. at the fire station in Hublersburg. Tickets are $10. There are 25 gun and cash prizes on the ticket stub along with rip tickets, good food and a DJ.
— Breakfast Benefit at Susquehanna Valley Big Twins Motorcycle Clubhouse, 7-11 a.m. All you can eat breakfast for $10 for adults; $6 for ages 6-12 years. Younger eat free. This month’s breakfast is to help Bill Boyer. Bill suffered a stroke which has left him bed/wheelchair bound and in need of 24/7 care. In addition to the breakfast, there will also be a basket raffle.
SVBTMC is located at 84 Harley Dr., (Woolrich area), Lock Haven. The club has a mission to help the youth and those in need in our area and they do that by hosting a breakfast each month at their club house. — Appalachian Pug Rescue, Inc. (APR), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Lock Haven and dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming pugs and pug mixes in need, is excited to host a “Cash Bash Bingo” Fundraiser at KBR Bingo & More, 1 Piper Way, Lock Haven.
Doors open at 11 a.m. with Bingo games at 1 p.m. Guests will have the chance to enjoy Bingo and rip tickets, a 50/50 raffle and a basket raffle. A variety of food, beverages, beer, wine and specialty cocktails–featuring Tito’s Handmade Vodka–will be available. Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door. — Bellefonte’s IACC is hosting a “Let the Spirit Move You Ghost Tour and Tasting Trail” event in Bellefonte from 2-6 p.m. You’ll be able to walk through downtown Bellefonte and hear ghost stories, meet Ghost Investigators Steve Mason and Keith Snyder and receive alcoholic beverage tastings at different businesses along with food as well. Tickets are required for this event and available at Bellefonte.com/events. BHCA is hosting the entertainment of the day, Jay Vonada, who will be at the Diamond. Jay is an exceptional jazz trombonist! Have a drink and a scare at this fun and exciting event!

SUNDAY
— The Benner families will be hosting a Fall Thanksgiving service at Benner’s Christ Chapel at 4 p.m. The public is invited to worship with the family and give thanks for the many blessings we have. The outdoor chapel service will feature story telling, music and a service by Pastor Doug Conway. The chapel is just a 15 minute walk from the Benner homestead at 323 Nilson Road, Bellefonte. Arrive at the house early and transportation will be provided for those who cannot make the trek. Be sure to dress for the outdoor temperatures and bring an umbrella if necessary. — People, PAWS and PSU: A Health Clinic for Dogs, Cats and Their Humans: Join us for an afternoon of wellness for both people and pets! Centre County PAWS and Penn State’s LION Mobile Clinic will offer free and low-cost health services, including health screenings, vaccines and microchips from 1-4 p.m. Bring your entire family — cats, dogs and kids — for some “healthy” fun at the Howard United Methodist Church, 144 W. Main St., Howard. Your pet’s health and safety are important to us! Cats must be brought in a carrier and dogs should be on a fixed leash. — Beech Creek Wesleyan Church will be hosting The Kramer’s in concert at 6 p.m. The Kramers are a family well known for their Gospel singing. They have a variety of musical styles featuring beautiful family harmonies and skilled accompanying instrumentation. The concert is free, with a love offering will be taken for the group.
