— Salt & Light Theatre for the Performing Arts, is excited to present the hilarious Broadway comedy of “Arsenic & Old Lace” directed by Pastor Ryan Brosious at 7 p.m. at Revival Tabernacle Church in Watsontown. “Arsenic & Old Lace” revolves around drama critic Mortimer Brewster, whose engagement announcement is upended when he discovers a corpse in his elderly aunts’ window seat. Mortimer rushes to tell Abby and Martha before they stumble upon the body themselves, only to learn that the two old women aren’t just aware of the dead man in their parlor, they killed him! Between his aunts’ penchant for poisoning wine, a brother who thinks he’s Teddy Roosevelt — not to mention Mortimer’s own hesitancy — it’ll be a miracle if Mortimer makes it to his wedding. — Centre County Young Patrons of Husbandry will be having a Fall Banquet on Sunday, Nov. 16, at 2 p.m., at the Unionville Grange Hall in Unionville, Pa. SATURDAY

— Porter Township Farmer’s Breakfast’s are held the first Saturday of each month through April. Held at the community building in Lamar, the breakfast is served from 7-10 a.m. On Nov. 1, the breakfast will include eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage, scrapple, hashbrowns, biscuits and sausage gravy, toast, coffee, tea and hot chocolate. The cost of each breakfast is $13 for adults, $6 for kids 6-12 and kids 5 and under eat free. All proceeds from the farmer’s breakfast will be put towards helping community members and giving back.

— New Hope Lutheran Church’s Free Clothing Give-away and Christmas Room will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Everything is free! — St. Luke’s United Church of Christ in Flemington will be holding its Fall Fair from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. The fair will feature a very large yard sale, bake sale, fudge sale and a raffle table. Lunch will be served in the fellowship hall. On the menu are walking tacos, yummy sandwiches, homemade soups, delicious homemade pies, cakes and desserts. The soups being offered are vegetable beef, ham and bean and chicken corn soup. Quarts of soup may be purchased at $7/quart. SUNDAY

— Howard VFW Auxiliary will be hosting a Cash Bingo at the Yearick Center, the Howard fire hall. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. and Bingo starts at 1 p.m. In addition to Bingo there will be a Chinese auction and small games of chance. Food will also be available. Tickets are $25 and are available from an auxiliary member, at the VFW Club or at the door. Donations for the Chinese auction would be appreciated.

— Summit Hill Wesleyan Church is holding a Hymn Sing beginning at 1 p.m. Guest pianist will be Karin Garner. Everyone is invited! The church is located in the Marsh Creek area at 1725 Summit Hill Road, Howard.
