Class luncheon

BEN Class of 1961 will be having a class luncheon Thursday, Nov. 10, at Haywood’s. All classmates and guests are invited.

St. Paul Food Pantry

St. Paul Food Pantry will distribute Thanksgiving dinner ingredients on Wednesday, Nov. 12, from 9-11 a.m. The pantry is located at 6220 Nittany Valley Drive, about one mile north of the I-80 interchange. Organizers ask that participants return any clean, used cardboard boxes. For questions, call 570-726-7460.

LHHS and ICHS Class of 1957 will meet on the second Saturday of each month at Restless Oaks at 9 a.m. Classmates and guests are welcome.

A Simple Request

Dogwood Circle Garden Club requests that those smokers who walk through the garden at the triangle and enjoy the flowers please take your cigarette butts with you instead of dropping them on the sidewalk or flicking them into the plantings. We have enough to do in maintaining the gardens and don’t need to pick up after you, too. Nothing is ever “thrown away,” just put somewhere else for others to deal with.
