The Clinton County Historical Society honored John and Joyce Gummo at the dedication of the “Yard Jockey” engine at the Castanea Railroad Station Complex on Nov. 2. The Gummos donated the restored engine, “The Jeffery Allen,” in memory of their son Jeffery Allen Gummo. President Bonnie Hannis thanked the supporters, Williamsport Crane and Rigging, Jersey Shore Steel, Bryertech Construction, Stephen Poorman and James Berkebile, who worked to place the engine on site.
