St. Paul Food Pantry
St. Paul Food Pantry, 6220 Nittany Valley Drive, Mill Hall, (1 mile north of the I-80 interchange on Route 64), is open the second and fourth Wednesday of every month except in December. In December they are open Wednesday, Dec. 10, from 9 to 11 a.m. This will be the only distribution for the month. No documentation is required. You may call the church at 570-748-7932 or 570-726-7460. People may call these numbers at any time for any type of assistance they may need.
Flute Choir Concert
The Williamsport Flute Choir will be holding their Christmas concert on Saturday, Dec. 13, at 2 p.m., in First Church of Williamsport, 604 Market St. Enjoy all of your favorite Christmas music played on a family of flutes that include piccolo, soprano, alto, bass and string bass. The event is free but donations are accepted.
House decorating contest
Light Up Wayne Township when you enter the house decorating contest this year. Decorate your home and then send a message to the Wayne Township Recreation Committee’s Facebook page to be judged, or sign up on the sheet at the McElhattan post office. Judging will be done on Sunday, Dec. 14, between 6-8 p.m. Prizes will be awarded to the top homeowners or businesses.
Senior’s Holiday Dinner
The Lock Haven Regatta Foundation will hold their Holiday Dinner for Seniors on Dec. 14. There will be two seatings, at 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. Takeout meals may be picked up between 1-1:30 p.m. and 2:30-3 p.m. Reservations can be made by calling the Step Office at 570-858-5800 by Dec. 11. Tickets will be required for take out meals. Tickets can be collected at the Step Office.
SVRCS Senior Socials
SVRCS’s Senior Socials have returned for the 2025-2026 school year. All seniors are welcome to join the second Friday of each month from November through April — exception for February. The program runs from 12:30-2 p.m. in the gym lobby at 236 E. Main St., Loganton, where the life skills students will greet you and be your hosts! Activities, games, snacks and entertainment will be provided for your enjoyment! Come out and enjoy this special time to fellowship and interact with students. No reservation required.
