— Howard Area Lions Food Bank distribution, noon to 3 p.m, at former Beech Creek Elementary. Bring a sturdy box(es) with you.
— Dunnstown Fire Company offers a Cash Bingo every Monday night at the fire station on 119 Woodward Ave., Lock Haven. Bingo starts at 6 p.m. and all proceeds help to support the fire company’s needs.
TOMORROW
— Blood Drive, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Avery Dennison in Mill Hall.
— Howard Area Lions dinner meeting, 6:30 p.m.
— Bellefonte Area School Board meeting, 7 p.m., at the Bellefonte Area Middle School cafeteria. The public is invited to attend.

WEDNESDAY
— Blood Drive, 12:30-6 p.m., at the Yearick Center, Howard fire station.
— Prayer Shawl Ministry meeting, noon, at the Bald Eagle United Presbyterian Church in Mill Hall. A light lunch is provided. Come to see all the items the needleworkers have made over the past month. If you knit or crochet consider becoming a part of our group.
— KBR Bingo and More’s straight line Bingo at 6:30 p.m. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. Regular game payouts are $50! Come join the fun! KBR Bingo is located in the Piper Museum Building with elevator service to the 3rd floor Bingo hall. Call Deb at 570-660-2647 for info. (Put this in more times ahead.)
THURSDAY
— Senior Cheer Club, noon, at the Friendship Community Center in Beech Creek. Bring a covered dish to share for the meal.
— Milesburg Lions Club Bingo at the community center, 6:45 p.m. Doors open at 5 p.m.
— The Peg, Joe and Karen Show, opening reception, at the Ross Library, 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Artists Peg Johnston, Joe Bitner and Karen Elias will be featured in a month-long exhibit at the Gallery of the Ross Library. Come talk with the artists at the opening reception. The exhibit will be up for the month of December..
— The Hammermill “office girls” luncheon will be held at 11:30 a.m. at Haywoods on the Green.
FRIDAY
— Centre Hall Fire Company’s First Friday of the month Bingo. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Early bird games at 6:30 p.m. and regular Bingo starts at 7 p.m. Call the fire station for more info at their new phone number, 814-531-8089.
SATURDAY
— Porter Township Farmer’s Breakfasts are held the first Saturday of each month through April. Held at the community building in Lamar, the breakfast is served from 7-10 a.m. The breakfast will include eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage, scrapple, hashbrowns, biscuits and sausage gravy, toast, coffee, tea and hot chocolate. The cost of each breakfast is $13 for adults, $6 for kids 6-12 and kids 5 and under eat free. All proceeds from the farmer’s breakfast will be put towards helping community members and giving back.
