PHOTO PROVIDED

On Sunday, a Jersey Shore Area High School Cheerleader will be in Hawaii to take part in the 2025 Pearl Harbor Memorial Day Parade. Kierra Arnold, a sophomore, was selected as an All American team member at her NCA cheerleading camp over the summer. Only a select number are chosen for these special events. They often represent the top percentage at Varsity Spirit camps. The selection is based on skills like jumps, tumbling, dance and enthusiasm at camp. She will be taking part in the 84th Anniversary Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade on Dec. 7 in Waikiki, Hawaii. The event is held to commemorate the anniversary of the 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor. Kierra will get to perform a routine alongside other cheerleaders from all over the United States while honoring survivors, veterans, active-duty military and their families. The parade can be viewed at www.pearlharborparade.org. While she is there she will get to take a tour of Pearl Harbor, visit the USS Arizona Memorial and experience the Polynesian culture while visiting six different villages. Kierra is honored and humbled to be taking part and representing her area school district in such a beautiful event that is such a huge part of our history.

Starting at $3.69/week.
