A resolution

Would becoming a Shoe Bank volunteer fit in with any of your New Year’s resolutions? The Lock Haven Area Shoe Bank is usually open one Saturday a month, when we have the fun of giving free new shoes to kids and teens. We are looking for more volunteers, including people we can call when we are shorthanded. If you’d like to volunteer or have questions, please text or call Wendy at 570-295-3443.

LHHS and ICHS of 1964

The 1964 Class of Lock Haven High School and Immaculate Conception High School will meet for their monthly luncheon on Thursday, Jan. 22, at 1 p.m., at Restless Oaks. All class members and friends are invited. For reservations, call Donna Barton at 570-748-6821.

Pot pie dinner

Bald Eagle United Presbyterian Church will be having a homemade pot pie sale on Feb. 21. The ham pot pie is $10 a quart. To guarantee you get, it’s best to pre-order by calling the church office at 570-726-4112. Leave your name and how many quarts you would like on the answering machine if Pastor Susan isn’t there to take your call. To eliminate the wonder of what to have for dinner, stock up on the freezable quarts of pot pie.
