Breon, Shadle, Tosti-Vasey to run for re-election to Pa. Democratic State Committee

BELLEFONTE — Three incumbent representatives recently announced their re-election campaign to the Pennsylvania Democratic State Committee. Laura Shadle, Jeremy Breon and Joanne Tosti-Vasey will be running as a team to continue serving Centre County Democrats at the state level.
“We’re running as a team to continue our meaningful work to elect Democrats here at home and across the Commonwealth. Each of us plays a critical role in strengthening our party’s operations, and we’re ready to build upon the success of last year’s elections into 2026 and beyond,” the three said in a group statement.
Shadle is a rising operative in Pa. Democratic politics, utilizing her experience and relationships on the state committee to run winning campaigns from the statewide and local level. She has served in executive positions for the PA Young Democrats, Rural Caucus, Veterans Caucus and more. Locally, Shadle is the political director for State Representative Scott Conklin and is a respected community advocate for various causes.
Tosti-Vasey is a founding member of the PA Democratic Women’s Caucus and the lead coordinator of the annual Candidates’ Forum, current Vice-Chair of the Women’s Caucus and Treasurer of the North Central Caucus. Locally, she serves on the Bellefonte Borough Council and is active in regional transit advocacy.
Breon serves as the secretary of the PA Democratic Rules Committee, co-founder and Vice Chair of the PA Climate Caucus and a credentials volunteer for PA Democratic State Committee meetings. Locally, he serves as Centre County Prothonotary.
Registered Democrats in Centre County may vote for three State Committee representatives. The primary election is Tuesday, May 19, 2026.
