LOCK HAVEN -- The Covenant Cafe, an activity group for those in the early stages of Alzheimer's disease or other dementias, will be meeting on Feb. 3 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Covenant United Methodist Church, 44 W. Main St., Lock Haven.
Covenant Cafe volunteer and photographer, Bill Raco, will present a photo show of the Covenant Cafe activities from 2025.
Volunteer Sharon Davy will lead a Valentine craft and Kitty Oechler will conduct a drumming exercise. The session will end with a social time and refreshments.
The Covenant Cafe is a joint venture between the Nurturing, Outreach and Worship Committee of Covenant United Methodist, the Alzheimer's Support Group and the Alzheimer's Association. Participants in this group are given an opportunity to be involved in socially and physically stimulating programs which will help them remain as active as possible. Individuals and families who are interested in being involved in this free program which meets the first and third Tuesday from 1-3 p.m. are invited to call Fran Decker, MSW, at 570-748-4302 or 570-263-2084 for more information.
