LOCK HAVEN -- HELP (Hardship Emergency Loan Program) for Pets will hold their Annual Sponsor/Board Meeting on Feb. 5, at 7 p.m. The meeting will be held upstairs in the Annie Halenbake Ross Library in Lock Haven. Anyone with an interest in joining or learning how they can help the group is welcome to attend.

HELP for Pets is a non-profit organization that provides interest-free loans to Clinton County pet owners who have exhausted all other financial means to allow for urgent treatment of their pets, thus alleviating unnecessary euthanasia.

They also offer the Chessie Spay/Neuter Fund that works much like the medical care program offering loans for timely spay/neuter of pets to HELP stop pet overpopulation in Clinton County.
